Data protection

The Privacy Policy describes how and when your contact information is collected for the purpose of purchasing an item from me, contacting me or otherwise use any of the services I offer Online. These “Online offers” also include any offers/services available through my Social Media Profiles.

Handling of your personal data follows the data protection legislation in Austria (DSGVO, TKG 2003).

I would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. It is not possible to completely protect data from third-party access.

The Privacy Policy does not apply to practices of third parties that I do not own or control.

When visiting the Website, due to technical reasons your IP-address, start and end of duration of the session collected. These data are under normal conditions not processed any further.

Collection of personal data

Making contact

If you contact us through the website or by e-mail, your data (any information which are related to an identified or identifiable natural person) will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. 

This applies to the following type of contacts:

  • booking of a workshop
  • signing up for our newsletter
  • contact per email

We will not pass on your data without your consent.

Purchases – saving data

For the purpose of a simple shopping process and for subsequent contract processing, the web shop operator saves the connection owner’s IP data, as well as the name, address and credit card number of the buyer.

In addition, the following data is also stored with us for the purpose of contract execution such as purchase of an item or booking of a workshop. The data you provide is required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. A data transfer to third parties does not take place, with the exception of the transfer of the credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax advisor to fulfil our tax obligations.

If the purchase process is canceled, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the tax retention period (7 years) expires.

The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also saved until the end of product liability (10 years). The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and / or lit b (necessary to fulfil the contract) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do no harm.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit us.

As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time.

The newsletter is distributed via „MailChimp“, a newsletter shipping platform of Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The privacy policy of the shipping service provider can be viewed here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. The Rocket Science Group LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, which provides a guarantee to comply with European data protection standards (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active).

The use of the shipping service provider, the implementation of statistical surveys and analyses, as well as the recording of the registration process, are based on our legitimate interests in accordance with. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and a job processing contract with. Art. 28 para.3 S. 1 GDPR.

The shipping service provider can use the recipient’s data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimise the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the shipping service does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write them down itself or to pass the data on to third parties.

Withdrawal of your data processing consent

Many data processing operations are only possible with your expressed consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint if you have any further questions about personal data.

The legality of the data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
